1. Introduction
In the teaching and learning process, teachers are the primary assessors of their students. Since they’re able to know students’ learning progress. They know how students learn from the beginning of given materials until curriculum achievements are fulfilled. During the learning process teachers are expected to assess continuously and periodically for ensuring the students’ acceptance of the material. The assessment result can be used as an evaluation to consider the next appropriate teaching treatment. It will take effect in choosing teaching technique, method, or even material level of difficulties.
In that classroom situation, Teacher Based Assessment is more appropriate to definite the assessment. Teacher Based Assessment according to C. Davison and C. Leung (2009) is involving the teacher from the beginning to the end.
